Our mission at wood lake kennel is to provide families with a healthy proven hunting and family companion for years to come. We accomplish that through our thorough health testing and selective breeding program. We also offer basic obedience and gun dog training. We offer hunt test training and dog titling.
Our Guarantee
Our health guarantee is 26 month health guarantee free of genetic and DNA caused problems. If concluded through a vet a said puppy comes back with problems upon sterilizing said dog, you will be able to keep your dog and get a refund of purchase price.
Meet our Dogs
Raider of the Valley
Raider our stud is a cross between English and American lines. He has an amazing temperament is our 85lb lapdog and teddy bear our kids can crawl all over him, and he doesn’t care. He obtained his Junior hunter title in summer of 21 and is working on bigger and better things. He sired a litter with our Dam Cleo, and all puppies are doing well. We have big hopes for him with future breedings. He loves to hunt and retrieve some birds whether at hunt tests or in the field and has an amazing off switch in the house.
Cleo of the Valley
Cleo, our fox red pointing labrador, is future hopeful. She loves to retrieve and be a snuggler. She is almost ready in her training for hunt tests. She comes from champion lines, and her father is a HOF Dog raider. He is our stud with testing done. He has achieved his junior hunter title and has sired a beautiful litter of Fox Reds.
Ivy of the Valley
She is our big teddy bear who loves to steal the bed and has achieved her junior hunter title. She also comes from famous Candlewood lines.
Luna of the Valley
Luna, our prospect puppy, is 6 months old and currently in basic obedience in our program and is working towards running AKC hunt tests. Although small she has already taken over the house and is becoming quite the sweetheart in the house. We look forward in the coming months and years to see where she goes in her hunting and titling career. She comes from both field trial and hunt test backgrounds and should be able to compete at any level.
Our male and female dogs are certified trained in hunting. We have proof of all their certifications. Jeremiah takes great pride in what he does with his dogs, and he personally takes care of the well being and training of his dogs.
